22 January 2020 - Latest on Bushfires

Unless you've spent the last few weeks on the moon, you have probably heard that Kangaroo Island has been badly affected by catastrophic bushfires.  These have mainly hit the western end of the island and I'm delighted to tell you that the RIG project has not been hit at all.

However, many visitors have decided to defer their trip to the island so things are quite quiet at the moment - especially so in American River.

A lovely young lady has put together an information sheet detailing attractions in and around American River.  We look forward to your visit and, to paraphrase Mark Twain, rumours of our demise are greatly exaggerated.
