You can find the RIG Boatshed located on the Wharf Frontage in the centre of the township of American River - alongside the Deck Cafe.
The Boatshed is open most days from around 10:30 to 15:00 and visitors are welcome. You may find volunteers working on crafting new sections of The Indepence replica. We welcome advance calls from visitors to Kangaroo Island interested in our history and keen to see our project.
